Alltech UK scholar enjoys placement

Anna MacPherson, 23, is the Alltech UK scholar, and is due to complete her studies this summer, after a successful placement year with the company.

Bsc (Hons) Agriculture student Anna, from Romsey, Kent, said: “I am delighted to have received the Alltech Scholarhip. I enjoyed a varied and interesting year working for the company.

“I was a sales and marketing assistant. It was an incredibly varied role which allowed me to work with both producers and feed companies to understand the role Alltech plays in the animal feed industry. I was also lucky enough to attend the Alltech Symposium at the company’s headquarters in Kentucky.

“In the future I hope to be involved in the dairy industry, with my long-term goal being to own my own herd of cows.”
