From course-related activities and exploring our countryside campus to eating in our dining room and staying overnight in our halls, you'll get to sample the best of Harper life - and meet the people you might be at university with, in the process. This two-day residential event for 16- to 17-year-olds is designed to help you decide if Harper Adams is right for you.

    How much does HAE Cost?

The Harper Adams Experience (HAE) is completely free of charge, with food and accommodation provided throughout your stay! You might want to bring a little spending money for snacks from the onsite shop, but this is entirely your choice.

What do I need to bring with me?

Make sure you've packed the basics to keep you comfortable throughout your stay with us! We would recommend bringing:

    • A towel
    • All your toiletries - toothbrush, toothpaste, shower gel, etc.
    • Casual clothes for daytime activities
    • Bring waterproofs and wellies
    • Sun cream and a hat, just in case we get lucky with the weather

You won't need to bring any bedding or food; we will provide all of this for you!

I would like to come with my school, is that allowed?

Absolutely! School groups are more than welcome to attend HAE - we'd love for you to join us. Please contact events@harper-adams.ac.uk and we'll be able to discuss our group booking process.

When do I get picked up and dropped off?

You can arrive on Monday, 30 June from 2:30 PM onwards — we’ll be ready to welcome you, check you in, and help you settle into your accommodation.

The Harper Adams Experience finishes after our last session on Tuesday, 1 July. We recommend arranging pick-up for around 3:00 PM, giving you time to enjoy the final activities and say your goodbyes.

If you’re getting dropped off or picked up by family or friends, they’re welcome to come onto campus with you — just follow the signage on arrival, and our team will point you in the right direction.

Do you offer any transport support to get to HAE?

Yes, we do! When you register for the Harper Adams Experience, you’ll receive a transport form as part of your pre-event communications, where you can let us know if you need any help getting to and from campus.

We offer pick-up and drop-off from:

    • Liverpool Airport
    • Telford, Stafford and Shrewsbury train stations

Fill out the form when you are sent the link so we can make arrangements — we’ll confirm the details with you closer to the event. If you're travelling from Ireland, check out our to help you with your journey!
