    Senior Pet Wellness Evening

    This course will be delivered face-to-face in our Veterinary Education Centre. We will cover a range of topics for consideration in older pets including:

    • Signs of aging – what is normal, and what isn’t?
    • How can I adapt my home to better support and accommodate my older pet?
    • Do I need to change my pet’s diet as they move from adult to senior?
    • Practical and useful tips for best caring for your golden oldie
    • The importance of appropriate veterinary care 

    Intended learning outcomes:

    • Recognise the common signs of aging in cats and dogs — and know what’s normal and what might need a vet’s attention.
    • Understand how your pet’s needs change as they get older, and how you can help them stay comfortable and happy.
    • Learn how to adapt your home and daily routine to better support your senior pet’s mobility and wellbeing.
    • Feel confident choosing the right diet and lifestyle for your pet as they move from adulthood into their senior years.
    • Take away practical tips and ideas to help your beloved companion enjoy their golden years to the fullest.
