Why do we need digital skills?

Digital skills are quickly becoming the driving force behind every industry. From engineering and business to healthcare and agriculture, digital tools and data are transforming how we live, work, and solve global challenges.

In response to the UK's Digital Skills Gap - nearly half of businesses are actively searching for digital talent -  we're empowering students to become future-ready and emerge as the next generation of digital experts!

By choosing a digital-focused degree, you’ll become part of a fast-growing sector. With our courses covering topics in data science, digital business, robotics and artificial intelligence, you’ll develop the practical expertise to empower others, shape informed decisions, and lead meaningful change.

With hands-on experience in our facilities like the Digital Centre in Telford (The Quad), as well as access to advanced laboratories, workshops, and state-of-the-art robotics machinery, you’ll gain the practical expertise needed to shape your future in digital innovation.

    Learning backed by industry

Our courses have been delivered with and for businesses in the digital sector. They need fresh talent with the right skills, so we are working together to give you the best chance to succeed.

“Students here are the future leaders and engineers who will drive technological advancements. Supporting their development is deeply meaningful to us because it ensures that we’re not only contributing to the growth of our industry today - but also helping to shape its evolution for years to come.”

    Kevin Brooks, Nidec Drives, Telford.
